I am almost over whelmed about the quality of music being released right now! Or maybe I just like to get excited! Who cares! Also, everyone loves a good collaboration, right? Lots of them ahead!

Really. Where is all this awesomeness coming from. I didn't know it was possible for me to be even more excited about music than I usually am. And I didn't even include any Hello! Project who've been slaying as well. Figured you already heard of them if you're interested.

Sick & Tired of Human Boys

I present you a playlist including some of the best Japanese music from the past five decades. I put up this playlist just by picking the songs that I felt like fitted in it from the music I've been listening to lately, with the theme of retro hits, party music and oddness in mind. Thought I'd share, because I've enjoyed this playlist like hell.

The unintended "Girl Groups Rule" -edition.

I've gotta say at first I thought FM was really boring, but now that I've listened to it more, I think it's musically one of Crayon Pop's best songs. They're still quirky and unique, but this is very different from anything they've released. Anyway, girl groups. The best kind. I always find myself getting back to listening almost only girl groups, but then again, they're great! Why avoid greatness? ♥

It's March already, but here are some songs I've been listening to lately.

Plus: Yesterday Block B performed in Helsinki, Finland, to some 1500 people. Like my friend said, it's hard to believe there are so many people in Finland who listen to K-Pop. However, the venue was very nice and full and the atmosphere was damn amazing. Block B was sweet and the show was very pleasing!
It's great to have this kinds of events in your homeland. However, the delivery of information about them is still very lacking and the organization of K-Pop events is only taking its baby steps.

I'm eagerly waiting to see how far we can go.

Long post ahead. Mostly random thoughts. Hope you enjoy, please do comment ♥

First off. People are always talking about the big entertainment labels in South Korea, but can we talk about Japanese Avex Group for a moment? One actual musical powerhouse that is. I still haven't had time to get familiar with all their artists, simply because there are so many of them! They're really advanced both musically and visually. Avex is the current label to names like Gackt, Ayumi Hamasaki and Namie Amuro, as well as the Japanese base for artists like BoA, 2NE1, After School, Super Junior and U-Kiss. They're launching new artists all the time, god damn it. So often that they don't even have time to all of them - Da-iCE switched to Universal Music Japan some time back because Avex didn't have time for them. That's not nice.

Anyway, here's one great Avex group, VIVIVID, which you should totally check out if your taste is even close to mine.

To other great music. I'm starting with BTL's Too-G. Nice song. But are these the guys that-- no, they're not them. They just look, sound and feel the same. Even the name of the group and the song sound familiar. Get over your everyone-needs-to-be "hiphop" groaning, South Korea.

Last up is the new Berryz song, which I do like a lot. It's another song that shows the skill of empathy Tsunku has. I really hope Berryz are, indeed, proud, because at least I'm very proud & thankful of them.

Here are my recommended songs of the month. No commentary-edition because I would just write "nice song" under every video. This was seriously hard though. I've just been listening to AAA. And more AAA. And Winner, who hasn't even debuted yet. Soon, okay?

AAA - Love

Right in the feels once again. Have I told you I love single shot videos? This one has a bit messy camera work, but it's not too bad. Chia looks like she's in maternity clothes though. But then again, around 2:15 she and Naoya look like they're the girl's parents and gosh, feels. Overall I like the video's simplicity and everyone looks damn fine. The song itself is gold, as all AAA ballads out there are. Especially loving the ending. U-uh, sorry, Hiro, for a second I kind of totally forgot that you exist!
